"Ashe, Ashe Look! That's soo cool!"

"Yeah, it's pretty cool alright." Ashe agreed as Grey pointed out a full fledged flock of birds.

Honestly, what was so interesting about a bunch of dumb old birds? Next thing you know, he'd be pointing out the whales in the ocean when they flew over that.

He did.

Continuing to wonder, Ashe looked over her young companion. Young, that's right. He was young. After taking down Albert, she realized, for the first time, that he really was Young. It's amazing what you over look when you have things shooting at you. But now that they where no longer fighting for their lives, in this moment of piece, Grey was able to take in the world around him. Like, Really take it in. And he was amazed by it. Everything to his young eyes was so new, and amazing. How could he not help but be excited.

A smile made it's way on to Ashe's face as she watched Grey point out yet another thing he thought was amazing.

He was young, and full of life. Even a sort of innocence.

It was here, that Ashe promised herself, she'd look after that. Preserve that innocence. For as long as she could.

"Hey little brother, how about when we land at the next port, I treat you to some ice cream?"

WOOT! This felt sooo good to work on! I'm glad I finally managed to finish it. This is later than I wanted, but I still like it. I've forgotten how much fin it is to cell shade. I wanted it to have that, game feel. This is a late Birthday gift for my good friend, This and the story... which, I probably should have had Beta-ed... I still got to try to get something for my other friends whoms birthdays I also missed. ><

I'll think of something guys. Maybe it will be one big joint picture, or something.

Part of the reason this is so late, is I screwed up the line art, rather royally, and had to do it again. So, I did all that in Illustrator. I took my time, making sure I didn't mess it up again.

I will also not lie, the basic pencil art Was done, shortly after my family went on a whale watch. So... there WAS some influence there. It also was what kinda inspired the above story.
